I attended a SPARK conference in September 2018. SPARK is about developing engaging activities to enhance programs for people with memory loss. The conference featured nationally recognized speakers and in-depth hands-on sessions. Topics included brain health, art-making, music and memory, building community partnerships, and more.
A very important topic for me as I have the privilege to entertain at many assisted living communities, including memory loss units within those communities. My show is always about the residents, touching hearts and lifting spirits. Putting a smile on faces and helping them feel young again.
Rockin' With The King

There where 10 contestants at this event organized by national recognized Elvis tribute artist Garry Wesley. Elvis John (left) was very happy taking 2nd place behind winner Michael Cullipher of Oklahoma. "Michael is a wonderful person and does a fantastic tribute to Elvis." June 9-11, 2017.
In Search of the King Contest Waupun, WI
Elvis John takes first place out of nine contestants at the "In Search of the King" Contest held at the beautiful and historic City Hall Auditorium in downtown Waupun on May 7, 2016.
Elvis John is seen here on stage performing Suspicious Minds. It was an energetic performance and the audience gave him the only standing ovation of the evening.
Elvis Explosion LaCrosse, WI
Performing with a professional Elvis backing band is something every tribute artist should do at least once. It's an experience to be sure, competing with some of the best ETAs in the country.
In 2015 Elvis John was a top 10 finalist at this huge multi-day contest held every September.
Kings of The Valley Contest Oshkosh, WI
On November 29, 2014, Elvis John is awarded first place for the second year in a row at this Fox Valley area Elvis contest. This picture shows the contestants with a couple of fans.
Elvis Fest Necedah, WI
An annual event hosted by nationally known tribute artist Garry Wesley. The Reel Inn provides a casual and friendly environment for the singers and guests. The four finalists from June of 2014 are Elvis John, Matt Joyce (winner), Garry Wesley (our host), Jesse Aron, and Chad Gates. It was a privilege to share the stage with them and all of the other contestants.
Raise The Roof Neenah, WI
This was a fund raising event for the Menasha Senior Center. "Elvis John" donated a performance along with two other acts, including the award winning country band Grand Reunion. The event took place at Headliners in Neenah on May 4, 2014. I have provided entertainment for many fundraising events since this first one.
First Contest Win Oshkosh, WI
On Saturday, November 23, 2013 John Hardginski was crowned the winner of the only Elvis Tribute Artist contest in the Fox Valley area. Contestants from Green Bay, Appleton, and as far away as La Crosse came to the contest held in Oshkosh.

It wasn't until Elvis' death in 1977 when radio stations played many of his songs in tribute that I learned about him. His voice and style was amazing and I began collecting his albums and other memorabilia. It wasn't until many years later that I actually sang as Elvis for the first time. As an Elvis tribute artist I have met many wonderful people and feel truly fortunate to do something I enjoy so very much. I am living a dream.
Now I perform many Elvis songs from the '50s, '60s, and '70s including gospel and Christmas songs. Typically an hour show will include some songs from every phase of Elvis' musical catalog. However, I can tailor a show to meet your individual needs. Some examples include a show featuring songs from a specific era, such as the 1950s, or a themed show, such as movie songs or a Christmas show.
